Circle K International (CKI) is a collegiate community service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. There are more than 13,500 CKI members worldwide, with 500 clubs in 17 countries. Circle K is focused on three tenets: service, leadership, and fellowship.
Service
Service is the heart of Circle K, we work with local, national, and international organizations. Service opportunities can be one-time or ongoing and can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours. We work with organizations to learn of the issues impacting our community and ways we can help.
Fellowship
Fellowship is about forming life-long bonds with our fellow Circle Kers. Make new friends at GVSU through CKI service and social events or make friends across the state by attending state-wide CKI Michigan district events like Fall Rally, Love Pit, and DCON.
Leadership
Taking on a leadership position is a great way to get further involved with Circle K. Be a part of one of our committees, become an e-board member, or even run for positions at the state-wide level! Whatever position you choose, being a leader is another great way to serve!

HOW IS CIRCLE K ORGANIZED?
As an international service organization, we have several levels of involvement and organization.

Club Level
The club level is the CKI that you've found here at Grand Valley! Our members are from GVSU exclusively, but we interact with other clubs across the state, nation, and world just like us.

District Level
The Michigan CKI district is a collection of all the clubs in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan and is lead by the district e-board. Clubs in the Michigan District of CKI include Adrian College, Central Michigan University, Concordia University, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Hillsdale College, Michigan State University, Lake Michigan College, Madonna University, Northwood University, Oakland University, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Wayne State University, and Western University. We interact with the listed clubs at district events.

International Level
All of the Circle K's across the world make up the international level.
